The South Downs is a popular destination for walkers, offering coastal views, rolling hills and the kind of beautiful british scenery that you would find on a postcard.

The Boathouse was the perfect place to relax and enjoy a comfy few days away. Plenty of room for four adults and two large dogs. The welcome pack was above and beyond expectations including treats for our dogs and a beautifully home made carrot cake, cheese, meats and anti pastas, all delicious and gratefully received/10(37). However, when I made the effort to search around and discover more about this quiet part of England I found there were lots of good walks just waiting to be found. Even in the suburbia of Hull I discovered some excellent walks. I believe I have covered some of the best walking in .

The route along to Sidlesham Quay becomes narrow and can be bumpy. It is hard now to imagine that it was once a busy commercial port with what was reputed to be one of the finest mills in the country, with three great water wheels, all sadly now Size: KB.

Sidlesham is a pretty village, nestled on the waters edge in an area of outstanding beauty. There are many walks to the coast and through wonderful countryside from the village. Within a few miles are also the lovely beaches of East and West Wittering and the harbours of Itchenor and Bosham.

It lies on the very edge of Pagham Harbour which is an RSPB Nature Reserve and has wonderful walks all around the area.
